Dr. JensonDr. Jenson is a respected podiatrist who has been providing both children and adults the most advance and modern procedures for the foot & ankle. His peers consider him an exceptional specialist who is very knowledgeable about podiatric medicine. Dr. Jenson is especially known to be an expert in lower extremity peripheral neuropathy and has received extensive training in this area. He is the leading physician in The Woodlands and greater Houston area and has over 1000 cases worth of experience in this specialty.

Dr. Jenson uses the latest technology of endoscopic and arthroscopic procedures to diagnosis and treat foot & ankle conditions with minimal recovery time. He has important values when it comes to the function and aesthetics of a patient’s foot & ankle as his philosophy has always been to alleviate pain and structural issues while maintaining beauty.

After completing his undergraduate studies at Utah State University, Dr. Jenson completed his doctorate degree of podiatric medicine at the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco. He then began his training by finishing a nine-month internship at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington. Afterwards, he lived in New York City and received additional training in pediatric orthopedics, biomechanics & surgery, and gait analysis as an orthopedic resident. He further completed a three-year comprehensive surgical residency in Houston, Texas where he received training from over 50 attending physicians and surgeons. Dr. Jenson concluded his preparation by fulfilling a fellowship to specialize in lower extremity peripheral nerve surgery. He was trained personally by the creator of nerve decompression surgery, Dr. A. Lee Dellon of Johns Hopkins University, and is very pleased to offer this procedure to patients suffering with the conditions of neuropathy and heel pain.

Dr. Jenson is an active member of the Association of Extremity Nerve Surgeons, American Podiatric Medical Association, Texas Podiatric Medical Association, and the Lower Extremity Peripheral Nerve Fellowship Group. He values the importance of staying up to date with all the news and information of a rapidly growing health field. He attends various seminars throughout the year to learn new techniques and procedures for the benefit of his patients.
